What to consider when choosing oregano oil:

  • Extracted from edible oregano
  • High carvacrol content
  • Obtained through steam distillation
  • Thymol content should be less than 5%

How to use oregano oil: The first rule is not to use undiluted oil, as it can cause noticeable burning and severe irritation of mucous membranes. Dilute it in your preferred carrier oil (olive, almond, grape seed, etc.). Always check for allergic reactions by applying diluted oil to the inner elbow and waiting for a reaction.

How to treat fungal infections with oregano oil: Mix a teaspoon of oregano oil with two tablespoons of carrier oil and apply compresses with the oil to the affected areas 3 times a day.

How to treat candidiasis and other internal fungi with oregano oil: Dissolve a drop of oregano oil in a glass of water and take twice a day. You can also mix a drop of oil with a teaspoon of honey and dissolve it twice a day.

Oregano oil baths: Mix 3 drops of oil with shower gel and add to a filled bath. These baths can also be given to children.
