I want to be honest—I never liked digging in the dirt. Childhood memories of working in the garden give me the chills—heat, insects, and back pain. That’s when I decided—enough! No more tomatoes and potatoes! Not even flowers! But over time, I found myself wanting to place a couple of cacti on my windowsill… When buying cacti, I noticed the variety of succulents, which are easy to care for, and I created a little arrangement out of a few types. After a while, I wanted ivy, then a ficus, and well, it just snowballed from there.
My passion was only limited by frequent moves—moving becomes a lot harder when you’re hauling palm trees in buckets…
And so, year after year, I tempered my love for plants, dreaming of my own little nest, where vines would hang down from the chandelier. But then the moment came when I looked back and realized—life is meant to be lived now, not tomorrow. So, I decided to create my own little herb garden at home—a tiny windowsill garden!
