Pear and Sage Lemonade
- several fresh sage leaves
- half a lime or a quarter of a lemon

Sage Tea

Pour hot milk over the sage, let it cool to a warm temperature, and add honey. It effectively soothes a sore throat, as sage kills harmful bacteria and helps you recover faster from a cold or sore throat.

- A can of canned tuna
- 1–2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 clove garlic

- a couple of sage leaves

Crush the garlic, chop the greens, mix all the ingredients, and spread on toast.
Meat with Sage
Balsamico Chicken
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 5 tablespoons vegetable oil (mustard or sesame oil)
- 5 cloves of garlic
- a sprig each of sage and rosemary
- half a cup of balsamic vinegar
Fry the chicken on both sides in hot oil. Once you turn the chicken to the second side, add the sage and rosemary leaves, pour in the vinegar, and simmer on low heat for an hour, turning the drumsticks a couple of times.
Liver with Sage
- 600 grams of veal or beef liver
- 150 grams of sweet red wine
- 50 ml of wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons dried sage
- 150 ml vegetable broth
- half a cup sour cream
- salt and pepper to taste
Cut the liver into strips, fry for 4 minutes, and then place it in a baking dish, seasoning with salt and pepper. To prepare the sauce, mix the wine and wine vinegar, bring to a boil, add the broth and sage, let the sauce reduce slightly, add the sour cream, and boil for one minute. Pour the sauce over the liver and bake in a preheated oven for 10 minutes. This dish is incredibly delicious!
Salad Dressing with Sage
- 1 cup vegetable oil (olive + mustard, or sunflower)
- marjoram, sage, dill, basil, oregano — to taste
- honey
- vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic
Finely chop the garlic, mix the chopped herbs, and pour warm oil over them. Let it infuse for several hours.
